Our client is a well-known European buying office and they are looking for an Assistant Social Compliance Manager, focusing on social compliance. This person will be an individual contributor, reporting to the Social Compliance Manager.
We are now seeking for Assistant Social Compliance Manager (European buying office)
Responsible for the implementation of social and environmental compliance activities
Review and analyze of audit reports and follow up corrective action plan with factory
Handle assigned projects and factory audit
Communicate and working closely with DE CSR, sourcing and merchandising teams.
Running the CSR programmes
To succeed in this key role you will have at least 4 years in social compliance field.
Degree holder in business or other relevant disciplines
Good knowledge in hardgoods/softline production/sourcing businesses
Practical hands-on experience as Auditor/ Monitoring function in CR field
Qualifications of Audits and Inspections. (e.g., SA 8000 lead Auditor) will be an advantageous
Provide advisory to management and relevant business units on relevant laws and regulations
Sound multi-task management skills with a good time management
Excellent communication & presentation skills and problem-solving skills, self-driven and proactive
Good command of English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage
Attention to details and good organizational, coordination and planning as well as problem-solving skills
Professional and positive attitude
Pleasant personality; mature and high level of integrity
Travelling will be required (Around 40% within APAC)
