Job Description
Our client is a well-established top e-commerce platform specialized in fashion in Mainland China and is listed in New York Stock Exchange.
We are seeking a BUYING MANAGER (fashion retail buying) to join their regional procurement team based in Hong Kong.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all merchandising activities are carried out promptly and effectively in accordance with the objectives set by the management
- Build sourcing strategy, conduct sourcing analysis and planning, aggressively reach out new potential suppliers
- Handle cost negotiation with suppliers
- Create the planning to ensure the best lead time between files and final delivery make sure the fulfillment is managed on the right track
- Pre-empt and resolve any critical issues arising from any external and internal parties to ensure on-time delivery of quality products
- Manage all reports accuracy & on time
- Assist management to carry out assigned projects
QUALIFICATIONS
- University graduate with minimum 8 years working experience in product merchandising or planning in fashion retail industry
- Excellent fashion, market and business senses with strong network with authentic sources for global top fashion brands
- Numerical sensitive with strong analytical skills
- Detail orientated and detail minded
- Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes
- Proactive with a can-do attitude
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach the team
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English & Mandarin
