Job Description

Our client is a leading global insurance group with business units in Brokering & Consulting.

We are now seeking for HEAD OF COUNTRY SALES


  • Responsible for the delivery of GTM strategy to the field
  • Ensures alignment with core industry leaders and matrix
  • Evaluates and calibrates pursuit strategy against market opportunity in the geography
  • Manages prospect qualifications and assignments
  • Assists in developing sales strategy and/or written RFP responses with individual opportunities
  • Leads bi-weekly sales execution meeting

Talent Management

  • Leads individual goal setting and business planning for DEs and CEs
  • Coaches DEs and CEs and helps them adopt successful behaviors that lead to results
  • Leads weekly activity and pipeline reviews including MarshForce adoption
  • Works with industry, risk practice, partnership and office leaders to understand and train colleagues in the differentiated value propositions and general advancement of sales skills
  • Retaining and developing high performing sales talent
  • Manages out underperformers who are not responding to coaching

Talent Acquisition

  • Responsible for increasing net DE headcount by 5%+ per year
  • Create and maintain a funnel of DE candidates at 5x hiring goal
  • Lead ECP's hiring panel
  • Coordinate candidates and potential offers with global and national sales leaders and other internal/external resources
  • Prepare all business cases and term sheets
  • Build-out of DE business plans, action items and timelines
  • Onboarding

Market Orientation

  • Responsible for interacting with clients and prospects in order to understand key value drivers
  • Help create sales process that reflect customers key value drivers
  • Understand the competitive landscape

Funnel Management and Forecasting

  • Maintains funnel and ensures funnel integrity
  • Manages funnel volume and velocity
  • Responsible for submitting monthly sales forecast
  • Participates in weekly pre-sales forecast meeting


  • Accountable for delivering new business plan
  • Managing marketing spend to budget
