Job Description

We are now seeking for a LEGAL MANAGER


  • Provide commercially sensitive, pragmatic and practical legal advice to the business and corporate functions on a variety of legal matters
  • Address legal and regulatory issues arising from business transactions
  • Draft and review of commercial agreements, insurance policy provisions and marketing materials etc.
  • Proactively identify legal and regulatory risk in the business and provide alternative solutions to reduce or mitigate the risk while skillfully managing legal and practical business considerations
  • Review consultation papers from regulatory bodies and prepare summaries
  • Prepare legal memos for new legislation and regulation updates
  • Work closely with business functions to ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are adhered
  • Work closely with Compliance to provide holistic support to the business
  • Assist in ad-hoc compliance related projects as assigned


  • 4+ years Post Qualification Experience in the Insurance or Financial Services sector
  • Knowledge of Insurance products and insurance operation a plus
  • Hong Kong Solicitor Qualification
  • Strong commercial judgement
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationship
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Personal authority, integrity and ethics
  • Self-starter and strong team player
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese
