Job Description

Due to rapid expansion, our client a global fashion brand is currently looking for a Project Manager to join their APAC retail IT team to be responsible for project management and support in implementing new retail POS system across APAC.

We are now seeking for a PROJECT MANAGER, RETAIL POS SYSTEMS


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the overall technical implementation of APAC's retail POS systems and customer engagement systems
  • Define project scope, requirements, develop plan and work orders
  • Manage a team to implement, support and maintain new retail POS system
  • Work with different business departments across APAC, managing internal IT resources and external IT vendors
  • Manage different technical teams during design, build, test phases to assure quality of deliverables, within the specified time
  • Follow internal project management processes by using project tracking system and maintaining regular project reports
  • Deal with any issues or risks that occurs and escalate these problems to drive an immediate solution
  • Manage and coordinate resources to effectively ensure a successful execution of the project and deliver a quality deliverable

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience with managing retail projects and application teams of which 4 years in managing large-scale and end-to-end global IT projects with proven track record as a project manager
  • Strong omnichannel retail industry knowledge working in retail environment with at least 4 years of POS systems implementation (experience with Oracle Micros is a plus)
  • Experienced working in agile environment
  • Expert in using project management tools such as MS Project
  • BA or BS in relevant field or equivalent prior work experience and training
  • PMP or Scrum certification is a plus
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, influencing, and communication skills
  • Strong in managing and providing coaching to team members
  • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced multinational environment
  • Fluency in Cantonese and English communicate in Mandarin Chinese
