We are now seeking for a SENIOR BUYER-EYEWEAR
- Working with Commercial Buying team to provide sourcing solutions for the development and delivery of Optical area.
- Fully accountable for on time, end-to-end product delivery to an agreed margin, cost and quality.
- Working collaboratively with local cross-functional Quality and Supply Chain teams as well as global stakeholders based in the US and UK.
- Managing key stakeholders of different levels throughout the end-to-end process to deliver the required results.
- Supporting in the development of a global sourcing strategy to deliver global category and brand plans.
- Managing Asia supplier base, identifying the best in class suppliers and manufacturers in the region and forging strong ongoing relationships.
- Negotiating commercial benefits with suppliers to obtain the best value & maximum profitability for the business.
- Working closely with the Quality & Ethics team to ensure supplier compliance and brand protection at all times.
- Minimum 5 years of Eyewear buying experience (including Frame, Sunglasses, Ready readers, Case and other related accessories)
- Understanding of the global Eyewear market, with a keen interest in newness and trends.
- High level of communication skills and strong ability to influence key stakeholders or varying levels.
- Strong product development and delivery skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills and financial acumen.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good command of spoken & written in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
