Job Description

Our Client, An American Luxury Foot-wear Brand, is looking for a TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (APAC)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • work closely with team to bring global consistency to wholesale learning journey, brand experience and content -brand introduction, cultural immersion, product and selling training, business skills, client development and leadership training
  • Develop and execute customer service, product & brand trainings that adapt to wholesale market needs. Ensure all training tools provided by Global team are used at the store level. Conduct group training sessions every season and ensure strong and effective implementation and tangible impact on sales and KPIs
  • Observe store staff, review business results and align with Brand Director, sales team and distributors on training priorities for Area Managers, Store Managers and associates of key locations. Coach and mentor Area/Store Managers of key wholesale locations: Serve as a role model, develop managerial skills, support a constant feedback culture and delegation of responsibilities
  • Act as regional representative to the region, understand and adapt programs based on cultural relevance, client needs and service experience across different APAC wholesale markets. Be a market expert in customer shopping behaviors, competitive best practices, and the luxury shoes service environment in order to drive an innovative, differentiated SW customer experience in stores
  • Analyze, develop, implement and measure training programs - leverage field feedback as well as customer feedback and other programs to assess effectiveness of training programs and identify ongoing training needs and opportunities. Assess and measure the effectiveness of all learning tools - ensure these tools are relevant and translatable. Provide feedback and develop initiatives to continually improve the effectiveness in each market of the region
  • Maintenance standards, Customer Service with Training, Coaching & Management skills

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in training, human resources or related disciplines with 5 years of hands-on training and development experience in program design, development and delivery in luxury retail, service or hospitality sector
  • Strong facilitation and communication experience and skills
  • Highly adaptable with demonstrated experience meeting diverse customer needs. Creative and growth-centric mindset, and able to navigate through change and ambiguity. Able to work autonomously and resourcefully, effectively prioritize and efficiently multi-task in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Mature and resilient, a strong and approachable team player, possess the ability to interface with people at all levels
  • Computer skills including strong Microsoft office applications, PowerPoint required, adobe suite - specifically in design strongly preferred. Graphic design experience a plus
